Random family again

Now that I have my new phone. I was really excited to get home and play around with it. I was so excited that I got home, had to walk the dog Ozzy. I grabbed the dog, phone and his leash. I walked out of the door and locked it behind me. I then called my Mom on the new phone to ask her if she got my text with my new phone number. I told her to put my phone number in my dad's "flip phone" and did my Lil' Bro' get my messages. I was walking and talking, talked to the neighbor on and on. I have the "new Iphone"! When I returned home, I found out that I had locked myself out of the house. I had the unused poop bag in one pocket and that phone in the other. No house key. Really, I have lived in my spot for 7 years and have never locked myself out. At this point I had no phone number in the new phone. You see my phone numbers could not be ported from my old phone because it was a pre-pay phone. I had to purchase my minutes before the phone would work. The only nunmbers that I had in the phone was Big and Lil' Sis numbers. This was because I was texting Lil' Sis at the Apple store ealier and Big Sis sent me a text on the new phone. Thankfully, the only phone number that I remember is my Mom's home number and she has a key, so I thought. While outside, I texted the only 2 people that I had phone numbers. I hope they did not mind as one of these people along with my Mother says that I need to be closer to my phone and check it more often. Did not check the old phone when people texted me. Sorry! I was close to my phone while standing outside in the heat. After standing outside for what was like a life time, here comes help. I found out that my Mother cannot find the house key that I gave her, my Lil'Bro was the only one who could save me. I am going to have to have a little talk with my Mom about my house key. I did not lose the key to her house, why did she lose the key to my house! She then told me that my phone does not have any apps on it and the screen was too small. Ah! Mom, I've just purchased the phone 2 hours ago and have not downloaded any apps other than what comes with the phone. Give me a minute! Hello! I have knocked 2 things of my 45 in 45 list. Smart Phone and a Camera. I now have to learn how to put photos on this page. I do have another item to put on my list. Its returning to that strong person. But I've knocked that one of the list too. new Iphone 5c

Yesterday, I purchased the new Iphone 5c. I love this phone. Let me tell you how it went down. A few days ago, I told my boss that I was purchasing this phone on the day it hit the shelves. I as told that I would not get the phone on the day it was released because of the buzz with the new phones. When she purchased the Iphone 5 a year ago, she had to wait 5 weeks because they were sold out. I thought that it may be true, the phones may be sold out. I told her you've got to have faith. I did say wouldn't that be funny if I just walked up to the store and purchased the phone. Well on Friday the 20th of September the day of the release. On the news, they showed lines and the local Apple stores. There were reports of the 5s being sold out and it could take a month before they would have more phones. OMG! I then drove by the Apple store on my way to work and saw the line around the building! OMG! OMG! I thought well this may not happen today. After working 4 hours, I then went to the store. The line was not around the building anymore. There was still a line. The "line master's" (Apple employee) said they still had phones but not the color that I wanted. Feeling bummed, I got out of the line and texted Lil' Sis' for some advise. She told me to get the black one and buy some covers/protectors later. So, I got back in line. I told the fella behind me with the steel studs pointing out of the chin that I have never stood in line for a phone before. He nodded and probably said to himself to leave me alone. The line kept moving and I was the 4th person from the door. They let us in side. Whew, I was hot outside! I then spoke with Tung. They had the phone and color that I as looking for along. II was happy, happy then. I called my boss to tell her that I was in the store and they had the phone and I am buying it today. She could not believe it. She was happy for me and that was a great feeling. Im glad that I turned arount and when back for the phone and did not give up. Iam now apart of the Apple family and now back on the grid! new cell phone

Well, I have made the decision to purchase the IPhone 5c. I want the green one. In stead of pre-ordering the phone, I am going to go to the store and purchase it. I am hoping to not stand in line too long as I am really not a "stand in line for the newest kinda person". I know that I may be dreaming, however this is what I am going to do. Hopefully, I will just go and purchase it. I am moving into the age of the smartphone. The girls at work call my pre-pay phone a "drug dealers throw away phone". I've never really though at that. I just had a phone that dials out and takes incoming calls. it worked for my needs. Now I am going to be able to put pictures on my blog. Write more on my blog in real time...be in the moment. I think I am going to have some take a picture with me and the phone. I am so excited. Live, Life, Love

Well What Now

Today I found out that at the end of the year, I will lose my health insurance. In a round about way, I don't work for a very, very large insurance company. I work for an independant agent, I am called a team member. I was however able to be apart of the group health coverage. The Affordable Care Act has come along to help people get health insurance, but it has caused others to loose the coverage. I know I am not the only one in this position. What happened to the promise!! I really do not want to put this on my 45 in 45 list. This is really not worth it! HUMMMM...........Well girl what now. Live, Life, Love

Well, its been a while since I last wrote something. I don't have anything new to write about. I did look at a smart phone last weekend. I liked the Samsung Galaxy 4s phone. My Lil Bro has one and it does what I want it to do. I still want to look around to see what else is out in the market place. I've spoken with 2 people today about the phone they use. Its funny that these two random people who don't know one another say they don't like Apple. They said all of the things that I've heard on the news, i.e., the outside breaks easily, etc. I am still looking and will get something soon. As I mentioned, nothing new or exciting this week. Random again/Family

The Scrub Daddy worked on my sink. What a great idea. However, I will never use the detergent for the dish washer again to clean anything other than the dishes in the dishwasher. This past Saturday, the Parents decided to go to San Diego. They drive over several times per year. The will drive just to get away for a few days. They will never let us kids go. We kids are not kids any more! I have wondered why can't I go with them. I only want to experience what they love about the city. My dad was in the Navy and I know he likes seeing the ships. But they always say no you cannot go with us. So I made up a story in my head and told them they go over to see there other family! I also said those kids must act much better than the 3 of us. Both of them just looked at me and said that "I was crazy". I have just about convinced my 2 brother that this is what they are doing. Also remember to always hit the "Save" button. While they were away, I stopped by the parent's home to check on Lil'Bro'. He was doing nothing, I mean absolutely nothing. We sat and talked about my future, where I am at in my life, where I want to go. I was fun to just sit and talk. Then one by one 2 of my 3 nephews (and Lit' Bro' who adopted us) show up and left. With each one of them, the conversation went to why should men have to pay child support. WWHHAATT! Mind you, that my nephews don't have kids and are not paying! I did say that if you make a child, then the child should be supported by both parents. We went round and round about this topic. They nor I will change my mind about it (well maybe when they grow up. They are in the early 20's. We then said our see you later's and parted ways. After all, it was Saturday night. On my way home, I again begin to think about how luck/blessed that I am. My nephew's hugged me, laughed with me, and wanted to be around me. That makes me very, very happy! Yeah! I am blessed. Random

Nothing exciting happened today. Get up, walk the dog, go to work, come home, walk the dog again and get prepaired to do the same thing tomorrow. I think that I will clean the kitchen sink. Last week, I decided to put the detergent that goes into the dishwasher into the sing. I had a little left in a bottle and I then decided to use that to clean the sink. Big Mistake! I now have some white film in the sink that will not go away. I think that I will use my Scrub Daddy to see if it will go away! I hope this works. "Thanks 6, 7 or 8 year old Palmolive.
